Burned Bridges and New Mornings

Some of the heaviest weight in recovery is not the substance — it is the wreckage: the relationships broken, the years lost, the trust burned down. It can feel like there is nothing left to come back to.

But God makes a specific promise to people standing in exactly that rubble. I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten. He is not in the business of patching things back to where they were; He restores. Some bridges He rebuilds. Some He replaces with better ground entirely.

Your part is to keep walking the road. His part is the restoration. Lost years are not beyond the reach of the God who invented time.

“And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten.”— Joel 2:25

You don't have to walk this out alone.

Refined Recovery Network is a faith-based peer recovery ministry — worship radio, discipleship, workforce help, and people who will walk with you.
