Why You Need an Accountability Partner

Recovery was never meant to be carried alone, and the flesh knows it — which is why it works so hard to isolate you. An accountability partner is not someone above you keeping score. They are someone beside you on the same road, who has agreed to pick you up when you fall and let you do the same for them.

The Scripture is blunt about it: two are better than one, because if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow. The person walking alone has no one to reach down. You were built for the company.

Find one person you can be honest with. Not perfect. Honest. That single relationship has saved more recoveries than any amount of willpower ever has.

“Two are better than one... for if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow.”— Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

You don't have to walk this out alone.

Refined Recovery Network is a faith-based peer recovery ministry — worship radio, discipleship, workforce help, and people who will walk with you.
