The Scripture makes a staggering claim: if the Son makes you free, you are free indeed. Not managing. Not white-knuckling. Free — at the level of identity. You are no longer defined by the worst thing you did or the thing that owned you. You are defined by the One who set you loose.
Walk in that. The old name does not belong to you anymore. The Son has spoken a new one over your life, and His word holds.
