When the craving lands, you do not have time for a sermon. You need something short, true, and stronger than the urge. Keep this one where you can reach it.
The Scripture promises that the Lord hears the cry of His own and is near — especially near — to the broken-hearted. The craving tells you that you are alone in this. The Word says the opposite: He is nigh, in this exact moment, closer than the thing pulling at you.
Say it out loud if you have to. Cravings pass. They always pass. He is near while it does.
