A Verse for the Moment It Hits

Refined Recovery Network · All Scripture KJV · Port Allen, Louisiana
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”— 1 Corinthians 10:13 KJV

When the craving lands, you do not have time for a sermon. You need something short, true, and already in you — something you can reach for faster than the craving can build its case. These are verses for the moment it hits. Read them. Speak them. Let them be what your mind goes to before it goes anywhere else.

When It Feels Overwhelming

“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape.”— 1 Corinthians 10:13 KJV

God has already provided the way out before the temptation arrived. You are looking for the door He already opened. Find it and walk through it.

When the Voice Says You Are Too Far Gone

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”— 1 John 1:9 KJV

When the Memory Is the Trigger

“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”— 2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV

When You Are Alone and It Is Late

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”— Psalm 46:1 KJV

Speak these aloud. The enemy does not respond to what you think quietly. He responds to what is declared. Open your mouth. Declare the Word. The craving cannot survive long in the presence of what these verses carry.
