You did not begin this work, and you are not the one holding it together. The same God who reached for you first is the one who will carry it through to the end. That is the confidence the whole road is built on.
Step 12 sends you outward — to carry to others what was carried to you. But it begins with this assurance: the good work started in you is not yours to sustain by gripping harder. It is His to complete. He does not start lives He intends to abandon.
On the days you are sure you will not make it, this is the verse to stand on. He began it. He will perform it.
